A BIG Congratulations to Maggie Henderson whose Quiz team placed 6th out of 35 teams in The United States Pony Club National Championships in Lexington, KY

Cantering Cajuns and Saddle Up got together over the Mardi Gras weekend at Lynn Quast’s facility in Folsom, La. for a weekend of Jumping, Dressage, Shooting, Vaulting and just plan silliness.  Lynn Quast worked with everyone on their jumping skills and was entertaining as usual.  Vickie Macgowan came over in the afternoon and gave dressage lessons and the girls are really looking forward to trying their new skills at her upcoming schooling show in March.  Bob Coleman introduced the new Cantering Cajun members to target practice and discovered that Camille Frink has a shooting talent she didn’t even know about.  She was the high score of the group!  Rachelle Benton brought her vaulting barrel horse to demonstrate some vaulting moves and Megan Benton wowed us all with her talent.  It was a great time and we all said we really needed to do this more often.
